Manipulated image of Michelle Obama

A manipulated image of the US first lady Michelle Obama has been up on Google since Monday. The image had the features of a monkey. It was on the net until yesterday when Google removed it. According to Google the picture has been removed from all over to the extent of Google's control over the net. Google has offered its apologies to the first lady. Google stated that its algorithms comprise of thousands of factors and sometimes the content results appearing on the net can be disturbing. It was one such like case.

This happening indicates the hazards of automation and its manipulation by others before the owners of automation come to know about the results. I wonder if the image of a commoner had produced similar results, and if so, would Google have offered similar apologies to that person. And, by the way, the image shown is not the one under discussion! I respect the lady and fellow human beings and do not like to do anything to others which I consider unworthy for myself.
